SEL - Our trait of the month for March is Optimism. We will also be adding the Using our words tool to our toolbox.
Reading - This month in reading we are studying characters closely, looking for clues about their feelings and character traits.
Writing - March kicks off our poetry unit in writing! We have already started learning about and writing poems for our Second Grade Poetry books.
Math - This month students will work to better understand and solve complex word problems.
Social Studies & Science: We will begin our social studies unit about communities and government this month.
